Over the last fifteen years this "magician of 6 and 12 strings" has helped shape the German acoustic guitar scene with his own unmistakeable style.
Ulli has recorded ten solo CD's and written five instructional books that have placed him solidly in the vanguard of European guitarists. His solo album, "Ageless Guitar Solos" - released in some fourteen different countries, brought him acclaim and respect from the international guitar scene.
He prefers steel string guitar because of its long sustain that he uses as a compositonial element. He likes to kindle the fantasy of the audience with music full of depth and beauty, which also reflects the innermost person.
The Ulli Bögershausen signiture model guitar that he plays is made by Lakewood Guitars and is equiped with the B-Band AG-CR2-29L system. He also uses AER amplifiers.
Ulli is constantly touring doing concerts and seminars in Europe and is streching more and more worldwide, especially in the USA. Currantly he his touring with guitarist Reinhold Westerheide perfroming songs from their Pictures album.
